Los Angeles Is Allegedly One Of The Nation’s Least Friendly Cities

Los Angeles has amazing weather, diversely gorgeous landscapes, and some of the most glamorous people in the world. But according to a Conde Nast Traveler’s Reader Choice survey, it’s one of the least friendly cities in the country. What constitutes “friendly?” Apparently, whatever they are doing in the South.

Charleston, South Carolina was chosen by the magazine was the friendliest city in the country, two years in a row. Other on the most friendly list are Savannah, Georgia, Charleston, South Carolina, Savannah, Georgia, San Antonio, Texas,Telluride, Colorado, New Orleans, Louisiana, Fort Worth, Texas, Jackson Hole, Wyoming, Nashville, Tennessee, Key West, Florida, and Asheville, North Carolina. So barbecue, Republicans, traditional deep South values, and “country music” make a town friendly.

A few of the most highly-lauded places to live in the country mixed in with the down, dirty, and really cold.

3. Hartford, Connecticut

4. Atlantic City, New Jersey

5. New Haven, Connecticut

7. Los Angeles, California

8. The Hamptons, New York

9. Wilmington, Delaware
