Anything posted on the Internet lives forever. Even if you delete that drunk picture or off-color tweet, sometime, somewhere, it may come back to haunt you.

22-year-old Larry Nance Jr. is learning that the hard way this morning.

Back in 2012, the power forward from Wyoming tweeted: “Gee I sure hope Kobe can keep his hands to himself in Denver this time.. #rapist”

Nance is referring to Bryant’s 2003 arrest for sexual assault. The case was later settled out of court.

Well, guess which team drafted Larry Nance Jr. yesterday evening? Yup, you guessed it. The Los Angeles Lakers.

According to ESPN’s Baxter Holmes, the team was well aware of Nance’s tweet.

Yeesh? Can you imagine how awkward that’s going to be?!
