Worst Songs To Play In A Bar, According To Bartenders

By Sarah Carroll

No matter if you’re partying it up at a club in Vegas or drinking cheap bear at a dive bar, there’s no denying that music plays a major role in setting the tone for the entire night.

A great song gets the crowd jumpin’, an overplayed song produces some major side eye, and a bad song can clear out the dance floor completely.

Thrillist surveyed a bunch of bartenders to find out what songs annoy them the most and some of their picks honestly surprised us!

Booker and the morning show have quite a bit of experience when it comes to drinking, and you best believe we weighed in with our expert opinions. Take a listen:

Here are the top 7 “worst songs.” Do you agree with their picks?

Don’t Stop Believin’ – Journey

I Gotta Feeling – Black Eyed Peas

All Summer Long – Kid Rock

Closing Time – Semisonic

Sweet Caroline – Neil Diamond

Livin’ On A Prayer – Jon Bon Jovi

Shots – LMFAO
