For many, Vin Scully has been a part of the Dodgers forever. This Sunday, he will sign off for the last time at Dodger Stadium when LA takes on the Colorado Rockies.
Carson Daly reflected on Vin’s incredible career, “When I think of baseball, that’s who I hear,” said Carson, “he’s a legend in the world of baseball and broadcasting and certainly here in Los Angeles, one of the greats.”
The Hall of Fame of Broadcaster called his first game for the Dodgers in 1950, eight seasons before the team moved to LA from Brooklyn. When the Dodgers won the World Series in 1988, Scully was there.
Although Sunday marks his last home game, Vin Scully will announce the final game of his 67-year career when the San Francisco Giants host the Dodgers on October 2, 2016. KTLA will broadcast Scully’s six final games.
Hear what else Carson Daly had to say about the iconic broadcaster’s career below. We will miss you, Vin Scully!
