He’s actually a funny guy… too bad the Clippers can’t seem to actually win when it matters. Blake Griffin wrote a letter to fans in the Player’s Tribune starting off by saying, “last season sucked.” He then apologizes to the fans, saying
“I am truly sorry. What happened in Toronto was 100% my fault. I messed up. There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t think about it. And I don’t mean that in some clichéd “not a day goes by” way. I genuinely think about it every single day, and I just feel like I let down the fans who have been riding with us since the beginning.”
Griffin goes on to explain how when he arrived in L.A., the culture was everything Lakers, and now, he sees just as much Clipper gear as Laker gear. He wants to keep that going, and he thanks the fans for being patient.
All I know is that I’m ready for basketball season! One more month!!
