Usually on The Voice, the artist is trying to impress the coaches, but last night during the blind auditions the tables turned and it was Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys who were doing everything they could to impress one of the evening’s most talented singers.
After three chairs turned for Darby Walker, both female coaches tried to woo the artist by singing impromptu duets with her on stage.
“You have to pick me,” Cyrus whispered to Walker after she struck up a rendition of “Jolene.”
But Alicia wasn’t going to let Miley get away with a win that easily. She charmed Walker (and the rest of the audience) by singing her hit song “No One.”
“I’m going back to my seat,” Keys said. “I just thought it was the right thing to do!”
Unfortunately for the 15-time GRAMMY Award winner, Walker decided to join Team Miley when all was “sung” and done.
