The BAE Show Artist Spotlight: John Legend & Future

Gospel vocals meets rap and trap meets hip hop on these two very different but equally charming artist spotlights.

Tune into The BAE Show this Sunday at 9pm to hear them both!

JOHN LEGEND featuring CHANCE THE RAPPER

John Legend might have a few Grammies stacked but his newest released single, “Penthouse Floor” is something magical. It’s classically romantic and smooth yet has a touch of funk. Chance the Rapper enters the track and adds a charming lightness to the amorous single. Legend’s angelic voice makes “Penthouse Floor” a hit and has us drooling for more. Catch the rest of his poetic album “Darkness and Light” dropping December 2nd!

Future has come a long way from being a high school drop out from Atlanta. Born as Nayvadius Wilburn, Future has completely turned his life around with his non stop music releases and discusses never forgetting where he’s from while simultaneously getting used to the fame in his new hit single “Used to This” featuring Drake. The energy filled music video shows glimpses of their highly successful “Summer Sixteen” Tour. “Used to This” is just another example of Future’s flawless execution of proper auto-tuned vocals that creates interestingly distinct vocals that exude a specific emotion and feel. The hip hop meets trap rapper plans on releasing yet another album early next year.
