Perez Hilton’s Daily Update: Taylor Swift Donated $100,000 To Victims Of Tennessee Wildfires

Taylor Swift has joined Dolly Parton in helping victims of the massive wildfires which spread across the Great Smokey Mountains National Park earlier this year, engulfing thousands of homes and businesses in flames and killing fourteen people.

Tay donated $100,000 to Dolly Parton’s My People Fund, which will give up to $1,000 per month to families who were left homeless by the fires.

Taylor’s donation matches the one made by the Academy of Country Music, who is partnering with Dolly Parton to produce a telethon to benefit the wildfire victims. The Smoky Mountain Rise: A Benefit for the My People Fund telethon will air tomorrow (December 13) on Great American Country.
